Bangalore,
undoubtedly, is an ultra-modern and techno loaded city. The otherwise laid-back
city is also known for some weird happenings. There are certain haunted places
in Bangalore, which seem to be normal during daytime, but visiting them during
night is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Here are the three shadiest
places in the city. Thus, if you are planning to buy an apartments in bangalore,
we recommend to stay away from these places unless you want to experience
something supernatural!
Terra Vera, St Marks Road
This colonial
abandoned house on St. Marks Road is one among the most haunted
places in Bangalore. EJ Vaz, an Anglo-Indian lawyer, built this house in 1943.
His sisters Dolce and Vera Vaz were the only
occupants until 2002.
A gruesome murder took place in 2002 where Dolce Vaz, one
of the two sisters, was killed by an unknown attacker and buried in the
house. Later on, the police moved the other sister out of the house to a safer
location. From then on, paranormal activities started taking place at this
ramshackle building such as sightings of inverted crosses and headless statues, screams and sound of a
piano being played. The house was demolished in February 2014 but the stories still
continue. Scary, isn’t it? So people don’t even think about to live live near
this property
in bangalore.
Victoria Hospital
Located
near the city market, this century old hospital reported strange happenings at
the hospital morgue. Incidents of
white ghostly figure appearing on a tree in the hospital premises made
headlines. The funny side of the incident is that the ghost is a foodie. The
hungry ghost steals away packets of food.
Kalpalli Cemetery
The Kalpalli cemetery also known as St
John’s Cemetery, located near Old
Madras Road is the cemetery for the eastern part of Bangalore city. This place
witnesses an average of 10 cremations every day. Incidents of sightings of a
frightening man lurking around the grave have been reported. Few other passers-by
have also felt a strong malevolent presence along with an uneasy feeling at this
location.
